1 on 1 Coaching

Getting the A-license and getting off of student status is a great achievement. As a young jumper, we truly don't have a good grasp of all the things we need to know in order to be a successful jumper. Even if one is "the world's best student", they still need to be able to take their skydiving to the next level.

Once off of student status, one is released into the world of fun-jumping. It can be intitmitating because no one wants to be "be the guy that ruins it for everybody else". By getting individual coaching, one can learn all the basics to making a successful skydive with a group.

In order to participate in successful skydives it is essential that you invest in furthering your education by receiving training from an established coach. Instead of re-inventing the wheel, capitalize
on the experience of others.

You will end up saving money and time because it will take less jumps to learn the basic fundamental skills necessary to be a better skydiver. By forming a solid foundation, you will be able to practice more efficiently on your own.

All sky coach jumps include a full brief of the objectives and techniques needed for the skydive, point-of-view video by the coach, and a full debrief of the jump.

It is important to have a solid foundation of the skill and knowledge of your current level of competency before attempting to learn something new.

  • Drop zone orientation (if applicable)
  • Equipment and safety brief
  • Communication in the sky (hand signals/other)
  • Proper body positioning
  • Exploring exit techniques and presentation for groups and individuals
  • Break off procedures
  • Altitude awareness
  • Parachute deployment
  • Malfunction recognition and proper action
  • Canopy skills and safety
  • Assessing goals and creating a personalized program

In order to find out what your individual needs are, Axis Flight School utilizes a flight progression to outline our coaching programs. Even though this progression has proven to be effective for many years, it is not set in stone and is adjustable to maximize your learning experience.

Congratulations
